character crops up. Please be aware that the list of names below does
NOT indicate that you received a part, but indicates that you are still

Using headshots
and resumes that were derived from e-mail, another audition will take
place which will look to cast a role for Natalie (50 - 70) yrs old
female, and Crystal (20 - 30's) yr old female. Those people will
be contacted by phone or e-mail to arrange for a closed audition.

What is the Production About?
Ardent Productions
officially announces a pilot ‘series’ tentatively titled ‘Aim High’. The
initial project will include a four episode run, each ranging from
forty to sixty minutes in length. In addition to the DVD, the series will
be featured prominently on the World Wide Web and Google Video.
The premise is that
four individuals (two women and two males) operate a Psychiatry Practice.
Each character has that special ability to help others in their own unique
way. Unfortunately, the practice is soon smeared by scandal and the theme
of mortality also weighs heavily on the characters. This series, a "dramedy,"
features intense emotional scenes combined with quirky comedy. This
project will be considered a PG-13 type series, one that an individual
could find on HBO. This series is created by Anthony Joy, Dave Thomas, and
John Dolan, who also brought you ‘Attrition’ and ‘A Soldier’s Winnings’.
Details for
Cast and Crew
All cast and
crew will have payment deferred contracts, but copy, credit, and meals are
provided. Filming is to take place in Cleveland, Ohio
and surrounding suburbs. Some portions of the project may be filmed in
Chicago and transportation will be provided in the event that occurs. The
filming of episodes one and two are to
take place in the Summer of 2006,
with episodes three
and four to take place in Late 2006 and early 2007. All filming will be
done on Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of some Friday night
shoots.
Auditions
All cast positions are
currently open - both lead and supporting cast. We are looking to fill
these positions with talent from Northern Ohio. When individuals arrive to
audition, they can specify the part(s) they are looking for, but they may
be cast in other lead roles or supporting cast.
Auditions Steps:
- When you arrive
you will sign in and fill out an Ardent Productions audition form. The
form can also be found below so you can print and bring it in to the
audition place. If you wish to submit early or cannot attend, please
send your headshot and resume to

The following are some tips from
North Central Casting regarding auditions:
- Arrive thirty
minutes prior to the audition time. This will allow ample time to
check in, warm up and check out your competition. However, depending
on your availability you may show up during any of the audition
hours.
- Bring at
least 2 photos and resumes. Photos should reflect your current
physical likeness. (continually update your photos and resume so you
are always current)
- Prepare a
dramatic and comical monologue no more than 2 minutes in length. If
you do not have a dramatic or comical monologue, please find one
below you can memorize and bring in.
- You will then
wait for your scheduled time and be sent into the audition room. You
will then recite your monologue or recite the one Ardent has provided
you. They may ask you several questions or may ask you to recite lines
from an additional page or script.

50’s) to play the owner of the Counseling/ Psychiatry Practice and
Steve, a co-owner of the firm.)
- 1 Female
(20-30’s) to play a counselor at the Psychiatry practice.
- 1 Female (60’s –
70’s) to play a counselor at the Psychiatry practice.
Supporting Cast
(all speaking):
- 3 – Males (40’s –
60’s) to play various husbands and fathers.
- 2 – Males
(20-30’s) to play a patient (One is a disturbed individual while the
other is used for comedy relief).
- 3 – Females (20’s
– 30’s) to play the daughter of the owner, while the other as a
recurring patient, and the last as a palm reader.
- 2 – Females
(40’s) to play a mother and a Psychic.
